Happy Birthday, Blog!

Okay, so i don't really know what I'm doing yet, but since i've been thinking about starting a blog for the past year, I thought I better just dive in and start one and then learn as I go. I just love the idea of being able to keep in touch with family and friends around the globe AND create an on-line journal for my family.
